For the third time running, it has finally come for our four-legged friends to once again walk along side the little virtual people with EA’s “The Sims 3: Pets.” Only this time, with more pixels– and hopefully, more “tricks.” But one theme of expansions that has remained a staple throughout the generations of The Sims has been the inclusion of– you guessed it, pets.

The 11 successful years of “The Sims” franchise have graced us with a plenitude of uniquely-themed expansions, introducing our Sims to hands-on careers (The Sims 3: Ambitions), weather changing seasons (The Sims 2: Seasons), and even the mystical arts of magic (The Sims: Makin’ Magic), just to name a few.
